What to Expect

Spend an Afternoon at Our Zoo

Rustic Retreat Deer Park LLC is located among the rolling hills and lush forestry of Northern Wisconsin. During your visit with us, you and your friends and family can hand-feed deer, bison, and trumpeter swans. Meet our famous wolf dogs. Our zoo and retreat may be small, but it offers a unique and unforgettable experience for every person who walks through its gates.

How to Prepare

Important Information Regarding Your Tour

Tour Prices and Payment:

Tours cost $20 per adult and $15 per child. Please note that we only accept cash. We do not accept any other payment method. Please let us know ahead of time how many individuals will be joining so we can get an accurate headcount and charge accordingly.

Tour Times and Appointments:

In general, tours last between 1 ½ and 2 hours. The days and times of day for tours change monthly. All tours are by appointment only and must be scheduled ahead of time.

How to Dress:

Northern Wisconsin’s weather can range from hot to cold, depending on the season. Since your tour will take place entirely outdoors, please ensure you dress appropriately for the weather that day.
